    • Washing Your Covers Regularly

Washing your covers regularly can help with maintaining that showroom look and also restore & help maintain its beautiful fit on the furniture.

    • Always Refer To Washing Labels

Most of our stretch loose covers are guaranteed non-shrink and colour fast. But always refer to washing label sewn inside the covers, or seek our expert’s advice.

    • Do Not Iron Stretch Loose Covers

There is no need to iron your Stretch & Easifit Made-to-Measure loose covers

    • Rotate Loose Cushion Covers

Always remember to rotate and reverse loose cushion covers regularly. It helps to give your covers a even wear and a more even shape as a whole.

    • Plump Up Your Cushions Regularly

Maintaining plump, soft back and seat cushions is recommended. If your cushions are completely worn off, you may wish to Contact DKS for help in refills for your cushions

    • Refitting After Wash Is Easy

Refitting after washing is easy. They will have recovered their original shape and will respond to firm handling. Please refer to washing instructions label on cover before attempting to wash your covers.

    • Avoid Direct Sunlight

Always try to position your furniture away from direct sunlight to minimise fading of the fabrics. Loose covers that used outdoor fabric should be fine.

    Washing Instructions

Please check the label sewn into your covers for cleaning instructions.
Many of our fabrics can be machine washed or hand washed at the same temperature – 30ºC. (Stretch covers can be washed at 40ºC)
✔ Lightly spin or line dry.
     DO NOT tumble dry.
All components of the cover should be washed at the same time using a non-colour enhancing liquid detergent.

    • Vacuum Your Covers Regularly

Always vacuum your Covers regularly using a brush attachment, as accumulated dirt will accelerate fabric wear.

    • Always Refer To Washing Labels

Most of the woven loose covers can be cool ironed if necessary. However confirming by checking the fabric label or seeking expert’s advice is important.

    • Regular Re-Dressing Of The Covers

Regular re-dressing of the covers will be required to maintain appearance. This includes the straightening of the seams on your covers. Any excess fabric should be tucked into the pockets between the arm/back and seat. Valances may need to pulled down into position.

    • Plump Up Your Cushions Regularly

Plump up your feather and soft back and seat cushions regularly. If your cushions are completely worn off, you may wish to Contact DKS for help in refills for your cushions.

    • Spot Cleaning

Clean accidental spills as soon as possible. When spot cleaning, test in a small area which isn’t visible.

    • Refitting After Wash Is Easy

Refitting after washing is easy. They will have recovered their original shape and will respond to firm handling. Please refer to washing instructions label on cover before attempting to wash your covers.

** Note: Chenille and Velvet fabrics – the pile will flatten with use overtime. This may result in a ‘shaded’ area on contact areas but this is normal for this type of fabric. Vacuum, using a brush attachment from time to time to reduce flattening.
